So they have to give IV Benadryl and steroids....they splint the hand, and wrap it in a diaper so she can't pull at anything...

Sad part is, to get the IV in they wrap her up with one arm free...stick her...blow the vein...try again on the other arm.....blow the vein......have to resort to the hand.....saddest thing seeing your baby being stuck so many times for an IV. It's bad enough when they have to do it to you multiple times...but to a baby...


So the baby hospital gowns are just like the adult ones....backs are wide open...

All in all, Sam never really knew what was going on and was a trooper throughout the whole ordeal.
