I got a diaper on my hand......

Ok, so the latest scare involved a trip to the ER. All because of a piece of bread of Panera. Beware the free samples of bread....how could my baby be allergic to bread?? I LOVE bread....

So they have to give IV Benadryl and steroids....they splint the hand, and wrap it in a diaper so she can't pull at anything...



Sad part is, to get the IV in they wrap her up with one arm free...stick her...blow the vein...try again on the other arm.....blow the vein......have to resort to the hand.....saddest thing seeing your baby being stuck so many times for an IV. It's bad enough when they have to do it to you multiple times...but to a baby...




So the baby hospital gowns are just like the adult ones....backs are wide open...



All in all, Sam never really knew what was going on and was a trooper throughout the whole ordeal.

Looking at the blog again my last post was June 3rd. I obviously cannot compete with some of the other 'Lazy' bloggers. Well, a lot has happened since. Sam apparently has some food allergies which forced us to move away from breast milk a long time ago. Stricly hypoallergenic formula now...with the addition of some solids now. But staying away from soy/milk.


She's beginning to sit on her own now...

Growing up...

Well, I know it's been a while, but what can I say. I can't keep up with posting material. Samantha is now 7 weeks old. She's getting bigger, eating more, and thankfully sleeping more. Makes a lot of weird faces, and the skin is finally getting better.



She seems to enjoy Guitar Hero...


She likes bath time now...


Mommy gets bored at home sometimes....


Can I sit up?!?


I know I need to work on my video editing skills.....

Update...

So everything is going well. Daddy's been off for this week, so spending some quality time with Sam. But still, the updates of the blog are slow to come. Sam seems to have a bad case of the baby acne. Also, it's Sam one month today. We're gonna have a little party for Sam's one month, and Mother's Day. Pictures of the event will be sure to follow.....

Time flies...

Well, time flies...Samantha is getting bigger, and gaining good weight according the pediatrician. No set sleeping patterns yet, but she's definitely awake much more often and eyes are open and big....
